This Rosé Franciacorta is born in the heart of Lombardy under the Bellavista banner. Using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from carefully selected vineyards, the wine undergoes gentle skin contact to extract a pale salmon-rose hue and vivid red-fruit aromas. Fermented and aged in bottle according to traditional méthode classique, it gains delicate perlage, refined mousse, and an equilibrium between freshness and subtle lees-derived complexity. It`s a wine that respects terroir and elegance rather than chasing overt sweetness or flamboyance.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Fresh wild strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry, with a floral lift - hints of rose petal or peony. Underlying citrus peel (lemon zest, orange) and a soft saline-mineral edge.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Clean and crisp, with fine bubbles. Vibrant red-berry fruit, subtle citrus zest, lively acidity and a thread of mineral tension. The body remains elegant, not heavy, yet defined and balanced.
Tertiary
Finish: Mineral-tinged and lingering, with delicate notes of tart red fruit, citrus skin, and a slightly saline, clean fade.
GastronomyChill to about 8-10 C and serve in a tulip or white-wine glass. Bellavista Rosé Vintage is perfect as an aperitif, for celebratory toasts, or as first wine at a meal. Its red-fruit freshness and acidity make it ideal alongside seafood – especially sushi, sashimi, oysters or grilled prawns, and light vegetarian dishes.
