Tasting Characteristics

Las Blancas 2023 reflects Bruno Murciano’s passion for authenticity and terroir. This high-altitude Mediterranean blend shimmers with tension — citrus and white fruit glide across a mineral backbone, framed by herbal notes and gentle texture. It’s a wine that feels both coastal and mountain-born: saline, floral, and alive with energy. Every sip carries a whisper of Mediterranean herbs and sunlit limestone — a portrait of purity and elegance from inland Valencia.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Fragrant and pure — aromas of white peach, lemon blossom, and pear mingle with fennel, sea breeze, and crushed stone. A touch of honeyed chamomile and green almond adds Mediterranean complexity.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Textural yet vibrant, with layers of citrus, quince, and ripe orchard fruit lifted by saline freshness. Lees aging gives gentle creaminess, while herbal and mineral undertones bring precision and depth.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and refreshing, marked by lemon zest, almond skin, and a fine chalky minerality that echoes the limestone soils of the Alto Turia hills.
Gastronomy

A natural partner for Mediterranean seafood and vegetable dishes, Las Blancas pairs beautifully with grilled squid, sea bass, or prawns with olive oil and herbs. Its bright acidity complements goat cheese, artichokes, and green salads, while its textural body suits paella Valenciana, creamy risotto, or roasted chicken with lemon. It’s also excellent with tapas and salty appetizers, where its freshness cuts through olive oil richness. Serve chilled at 9–11 °C to express its layered aromatics and fine salinity — the essence of the Spanish coast and mountains in one glass.
