Havana Club Selección de Maestros is a masterful expression of Cuban rum tradition, created by Havana Club`s Maestros Roneros – the master blenders who personally handpick and marry the finest aged rums. The result is a perfectly balanced spirit of depth and warmth. The aroma reveals toasted pecans, cocoa, and vanilla, while the palate unfolds with caramelized oak, coffee, and subtle spice. The texture is silky and dry, with a long, elegant finish that lingers with notes of tobacco, cacao, and wood smoke. A rum that showcases the craftsmanship and soul of Cuba in every drop.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Opens with rich notes of polished mahogany, tobacco leaf, dark dried fruit (plum, cherry), vanilla pod and a hint of leather.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: A full body delivery of oak-driven structure, spiced cinnamon and nutmeg, dark chocolate and coffee beans weave through.
Waves of sweet-dry interplay: Caramel-coated banana fading into toasted nuts.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and lingering: warm waxy oak persists, cigar-box echoes, subtle orange peel and spice drift away slowly. The 45% strength keeps presence and depth without turning harsh.
Gastronomy

Serve this rum neat in a tulip glass or with a large ice cube to slightly soften the edges.

Because of its rich oak, tobacco and dark-chocolate notes, it pairs beautifully with aged Manchego or a rich sheep`s-milk cheese, grilled rib-eye steak or roasted duck with plum glaze (complementing the dried-fruit and spice profile), and for dessert, dark chocolate truffles or charred pineapple with a touch of smoked sea salt highlight the lighter fruit and toffee elements.
