A bold reinterpretation of Islay peat given new dimension through Oloroso sherry-cask finishing, this Laphroaig fuses maritime smoke and coastal brine with rich dried-fruit sweetness and oak spice.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Intense wave of medicinal peat and sea spray, followed by dark fruit compote, figs, raisins, cocoa, and warm oak spice.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Silky yet powerful: deep peat smoke, charred driftwood, baked plums, dark chocolate syrup, espresso-toned malt and a glaze of sherry-sweet dried cherries.
Tertiary
Finish: Very long and resonant — lingering ash and salt spray merge with oak tannin, hints of leather, dark berry jam and smoked bacon bark.
Gastronomy

This whisky is ideal when served alongside dishes with strong character — think smoked lamb shoulder with dark cherry jus, braised short-rib glazed in fig and port, or black-currant and dark-chocolate ganache tart. It also pairs beautifully with strong blue cheese and honeyed walnut bread. The interplay of peat, sherry sweetness and oak spice makes it a compelling match for richly structured savoury dishes or decadent desserts.
