Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016 is Champagne refined – a vintage cuvée where freshness meets maturity, ready to celebrate history in a glass.

From one of Champagne`s most iconic houses, the 2016 Grand Vintage reflects a single harvest, bringing together Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (plus Meunier depending on the blend) from the estate`s diverse parcels. Long lees aging and attentive vinification yield a bottle that balances youthful vivacity with depth from autolysis – a classic vintage Champagne built on structure, minerality and elegance.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Aromas of crisp green apple and white peach, fresh citrus peel (lemon, grapefruit), pale stone-fruit, light toasty brioche and subtle white-flower notes; underlain by gentle chalky mineral and a whisper of saline breeze.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: The entry is lively and fresh, with fine mousse and bright acidity. Fruit evolves into orchard and stone fruits, citrus zest and a subtle lees-derived creaminess. A mineral backbone and light yeast-derived depth give structure and tension.
Tertiary
Finish: The finish is long and harmonious, with notes of citrus peel, white-flesh fruit, a clean mineral line, soft brioche - a lingering salinity that invites another sip.
Gastronomy

Serve chilled (approx. 8-10 C) in a tulip glass to allow its complexity to unfold. Grand Vintage 2016 is ideal as an aperitif, but also pairs beautifully with refined dishes: seared scallops, oysters, delicate white fish, or even richer fare like butter-sautéed lobster.
