Tasting Characteristics

A timeless symbol of celebration — pale gold bubbles rising in a flute, promising vibrancy, freshness and refined joie de vivre.

Moët & Chandon Impérial is the flagship cuvée of one of Champagne’s oldest and most prestigious houses, blending the classic triad of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier to craft a consistently elegant non-vintage Champagne. Since its debut in the 1860s, this wine has represented the house’s commitment to bright fruitiness, subtle maturity and balanced richness.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: The bouquet opens with crisp green apple and lively citrus notes, mingling with white blossom and subtle mineral hints. There’s also a whisper of brioche, fresh cereal and light nuts - suggesting lees age and refinement.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: On the palate, fine, persistent bubbles carry flavors of white-fleshed fruit — pear, white peach, apple — joined by soft citrus undertones and a gentle gooseberry tang. The balance of freshness and fruit keeps it elegant and approachable, without heaviness.
Tertiary
Finish: The finish is clean, mineral-tinged and moderately long, with a refined dryness and a light, lingering fruit-citric aftertaste that invites another sip.
Gastronomy

Serve chilled – 8-10 C – in a tall flute or tulip glass to let the bubbles and aromas express fully. This Champagne is ideal as an aperitif, a celebratory toast, or paired throughout a meal. It shines with seafood dishes (oysters, scallops, ceviche), light shellfish, sushi, or caviar. Among cheeses, soft creamy ones like Brie or young goat cheeses work beautifully. For meat, delicate poultry or veal dishes, perhaps with light herbs or citrus notes. Desserts based on fresh fruit (pear, apple) or light pastries also pair well.
