Louis Roederer Carte Blanche Demi-Sec Box
A luxurious Champagne that embraces opulence and elegance – soft fruit, gentle sweetness and refined texture in a style that bridges tradition and indulgence.
Carte Blanche is the more indulgent sibling within the lineup of Louis Roederer. Crafted from classic Champagne varietals (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier) and blended across vintages, it is matured about three years on the lees, then aged six more months after disgorgement to reach its ideal balance. A small portion (5%) of the blend comes from wines aged in oak vats, adding subtle depth. Carte Blanche stands out with higher dosage, giving it demi-sec richness and a creamy, round texture that lightly sweetens but remains elegant.
Serve well chilled (6-8 C) in a flute or classic Champagne glass to reveal its depth and subtle sweetness. Carte Blanche shines as a dessert-friendly Champagne or as a companion to richly flavored starters. Pair it with fruit-based desserts (tarte tatin, poached pear, quince compote), creamy cheeses (blue cheese, triple-cream cheese), almond or hazelnut pastries, or even lightly spiced dishes — its sweetness and depth harmonize with both sweet and savory. Also excellent as an aperitif for those who appreciate a richer, more indulgent style.
