Tasting Characteristics

A luminous dance of white-flower elegance and chalky terroir, bottled as a rare expression of Chardonnay purity.

This vintage cuvée channels the full potential of the Côte des Blancs terroirs – fruit from carefully selected Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels (notably around Cramant, Avize, Chouilly) is vinified exclusively in stainless steel or neutral vessels, fermented and matured on lees for years. The result: a Blanc de Blancs that honours the tradition of vintage sparkling wine, released only when nature delivers near-perfect grapes.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: A delicate bouquet of white blossoms - magnolia, acacia, a hint of elderflower — mingles with pear, citrus zest, and a whisper of honey and brioche crust. Soft florals meet fresh orchard fruit and subtle toasty nuance.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: The mousse is fine and caressing; from first sip flows a satiny texture. Flavours of white stone fruit, lemon-curd brightness, pear, and gentle citrus merge with a refined chalky minerality and a touch of salinity. The structure remains tense yet round - vibrant acidity balances the creamy mid-palate.
Tertiary
Finish: The finish is elegant and lingering - floral echoes return, citrus brightness fades slowly into mineral freshness and subtle brioche undertones. The aftertaste is refined, drawn out, and leave a clean, chalk-tinged palate impression.
Gastronomy

Best served chilled (8-10 C), poured into a tall tulip or flute that lets the aromas open while preserving fine bubbles. This Blanc de Blancs 2014 pairs beautifully with oysters on the half-shell, scallops, lobster with a light butter-cream sauce, or delicate shellfish preparations. Its floral and mineral character also complements subtle soft cheeses, shellfish carpaccio, or a lemon-thyme risotto. For an elegant starter – think ceviche or light seafood pasta. This vintage Champagne stands out, its acidity and finesse elevating each bite.
