Piedra Joven
Piedra Joven is rooted in Chile’s Secano Interior, where ancient País bush vines grow without irrigation on poor, rocky soils. The wine follows a restrained, low-intervention approach that avoids oak and heavy extraction, allowing País to show its naturally light color, high drinkability, and savory edge. This is a red built around tradition and immediacy—closer to a southern French or Beaujolais-style mindset than to modern Chilean ripeness.
Serve slightly chilled at 13–14°C. Piedra Joven excels with simple, everyday food: grilled vegetables, light poultry, empanadas, or casual plates built around herbs and olive oil. Its low tannin and fresh acidity also make it a natural partner for picnic-style meals and uncomplicated cheese boards.
