Springbank 10 Year Old is the reference point not only for the distillery, but for the entire Campbeltown style. Produced using traditional floor malting, direct-fired stills, and Springbank’s distinctive partial triple distillation, it delivers a balance of precision and texture that few whiskies manage at this age. Maturation in a combination of ex-bourbon American oak and sherry casks brings harmony rather than dominance – nothing shouts, everything contributes. Bottled at 46% and left non-chill-filtered, this is a whisky built on integrity, not shortcuts.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Coastal air, green apple, pear skin, malt biscuits, gentle smoke, vanilla, and a faint waxy note.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Structured and layered. Orchard fruit, salted caramel, toasted barley, subtle peat smoke, nutmeg, and dry oak unfold steadily, carried by Springbank’s signature oiliness.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and dry with lingering salinity, soft smoke, cereal sweetness, and restrained oak spice.
Gastronomy

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to enhance definition. The balance of fruit, salt, light smoke, and oak makes this whisky highly food-friendly.
