Tasting Characteristics

An artistic Highland masterpiece, The Dalmore Luminary 2025 unites architecture and whisky craftsmanship in a radiant, layered expression. Matured in a symphony of casks including sherry, Calvados, and fine oak, it glows with depth and harmony.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Baked apple, vanilla pod, sugared almond, and cocoa with gentle notes of orange zest and toasted oak.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Velvety blend of butterscotch, dark chocolate, and Seville orange with subtle spice and green tea undertones.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and warm with marzipan, cassia bark, and soft dried fruit.
Gastronomy

Best enjoyed with duck à l’orange, venison in port glaze, or dark chocolate fondant. Its port-like sweetness and spice pair beautifully with rich meats or desserts. Serve neat or with a drop of water in a tulip glass.
