Borgogno Barolo Liste DOCG 2018
Borgogno Barolo Liste DOCG 2018 originates from the renowned single vineyard “Liste,” known for its limestone-clay soils and excellent exposure. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, given a long maceration, and aged for four years in large Slavonian oak casks — a hallmark of Borgogno’s traditional approach. The result is a wine with firmness, depth, and longevity, expressing both terroir precision and classical Barolo restraint.
Serve at 16–18 C, ideally after at least one hour of decanting. This is a wine designed for structured, savory dishes: slow-roasted beef, lamb shoulder, venison, wild boar, mushroom ragù, or red-wine braised meats. Its mineral depth pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses such as Parmigiano-Reggiano, Pecorino, or alpine mountain cheeses. Dishes with truffles or wild mushrooms amplify the earthy, complex notes of this Barolo.
