According to tradition, the recipe dates back to 1525, when a lady of the town gifted a unique liqueur made from apricot kernels and herbs to the painter Bernardino Luini. Today, the brand infuses the spirit of that story into its consistent modern form, combining apricot-kernel flavour, burnt sugar, 17 selected herbs and fruits into its distinct profile.
