Tasting Characteristics

Domaine Adrien Berlioz “Suzanne” 2024 reflects the quiet precision and alpine soul of Savoie’s Altesse grape. Cultivated on limestone-rich slopes in Chignin, it reveals layers of white fruit, mountain flowers, and gentle nutty undertones. The palate is elegant yet substantial, its lively acidity balanced by a soft, textural depth. A wine of purity and poise — mountain elegance bottled with the touch of a craftsman.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Refined and layered — aromas of white flowers, pear, and apricot with subtle honeyed notes, wet stone, and hints of hazelnut.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Elegant and supple — ripe orchard fruit and mountain herbs balanced by bright acidity and a delicate creaminess from lees aging. A seamless blend of freshness and finesse.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and graceful, with lingering notes of citrus zest, almond, and chalky minerality.
Gastronomy

Superb with creamy cheeses (Reblochon, Tomme), trout almondine, roasted chicken, or wild mushroom dishes. Also excellent with herbed risotto, scallops, or fondue Savoyarde. Serve at 10–12 °C to showcase its floral freshness and subtle richness. A wine for alpine evenings — graceful, grounding, and quietly luxurious.
