Tasting Characteristics

A refined Champagne that brings Côte des Blancs finesse to every glass – crisp, mineral, and nuanced.

Waris-Hubert crafts Albescent Brut NV as a signature grower Champagne. The blend leans heavily on the house`s favored grape, Chardonnay, for clarity and freshness, while Champagne`s cooler climate and chalk-rich soils impart mineral tension and elegance. This is Champagne rooted in terroir, not flamboyance.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Zesty citrus peel, green apple, subtle white flowers, fresh lemon-zest brightness, and clean chalky mineral undertone.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Light to medium body, with lively green apple, pear, and faint stone-fruit notes, guided by crisp acidity. The mousse is creamy yet fine, not thick, supporting the fruit. The finish shows subtle hints of brioche, chalk, and saline mineral notes.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean, refreshing, and airy, with a mineral echo and a delicate mousse character that carries through to the end.
Gastronomy

Serve chilled (8-10 C) in a classic flute or tulip glass. Perfect as an aperitif or alongside refined appetizers such as oysters, smoked salmon blinis, langoustines, sushi, or light hors d`oeuvres with goat cheese. Also pairs nicely with delicate fish dishes or light poultry starters.
