Borgogno Barolo Class DOCG 2020 craftsmanship reflects centuries-old tradition: hand-picked Nebbiolo from classic Barolo vineyards, spontaneous fermentation, and long maturation in large Slavonian oak casks. The result is a wine that balances finesse and structure, a true expression of terroir and heritage — austere, elegant, built to age gracefully over years while already offering impressive presence.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: A bouquet of red cherry and sour cherry melds with rose petals, dried herbs, licorice and a hint of forest floor. Underlying tones of leather, tobacco, and subtle earthiness promise a classic Barolo depth.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Medium-full to full body: leathery cherry character transitions into dark berry, wild herbs, tar and mineral undertones. Firm but refined tannins provide structure. Acidity remains vibrant — giving balance to dense fruit and supporting a long, classic Barolo backbone.
Tertiary
Finish: Lingering and persistent: red fruit fades into earth, dried herbs and mineral-tinged spice. The finish is elegant and sustained — a slow fade that invites contemplation and, potentially, years of aging.
Gastronomy

Serve at about 16–18 C, preferably decanted 60+ minutes before drinking to let full complexity unfold. This Barolo shines alongside richly flavored dishes: slow-roasted beef, braised lamb, game meats (venison, wild boar), or ragù alla piemontese.
