Tasting CharacteristicsOVNI (“Unidentified Viticultural Object”) is Château Les Croisille’s most playful and unconventional cuvée — a natural, no-sulphur Malbec fermented semi-carbonically to highlight freshness rather than power. In 2021, the cool vintage amplified this style: bright acidity, crunchy texture and vibrant fruit. It’s a wine made for pure pleasure, with minimal extraction, no heaviness and a juicy, quaffable personality rarely seen in Cahors.

Aroma/Nose: Fresh raspberry, sour cherry, red currant, violet, pomegranate and a touch of wild herbs — bright, lifted and aromatic.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Lively and juicy with light tannins; flavors of crunchy cherry, raspberry and red plum mix with notes of hibiscus, cranberry and subtle herbal spice. Texture is smooth, vibrant and youthful.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, refreshing, slightly tart and delicately herbal, leaving a clean, mouthwatering impression.
