Tasting Characteristics

Château Les Croisille Sauvignon 2023 reflects the estate’s limestone terroir and precision-driven style. Vinified entirely in stainless steel, the wine remains pure, crisp and aromatic, highlighting the clarity of Sauvignon Blanc grown in the cooler zones of the Lot Valley. Expect a lively, modern interpretation — clean fruit, floral lift, electric acidity and a long, mineral finish shaped by the area’s characteristic calcareous soils.

Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Lemon zest, grapefruit, green apple, white peach, fresh-cut grass, elderflower and a chalky mineral note.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Bright and linear, with energetic acidity. Citrus and orchard fruit dominate — lemon, pear, green apple — supported by subtle herbal edges and a fine, saline mineral streak. Crisp, refreshing and very drinkable.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, clean and zesty, with lingering citrus peel, crushed stone and subtle herbal freshness.
Gastronomy

Serve at 8–10 C. This Sauvignon Blanc is ideal for fresh, vibrant dishes: goat cheese salads, ceviche, grilled shrimp, oysters, sushi, tabbouleh, asparagus dishes, lemon-herb chicken, grilled vegetables or pasta with olive oil and basil. Its clean acidity and mineral tension make it especially well-suited to seafood and citrus-driven cuisine.
