Chateau les Croisille Silice 2022
“Silice” 2022 showcases a lighter, more graceful side of Cahors. Sourced from silica and sandstone parcels, this cuvée emphasizes aromatic clarity and freshness rather than density. Semi-carbonic fermentation and minimal-oak ageing preserve purity and tension, giving a Malbec that is juicy, expressive and subtly mineral. It’s a polished, modern wine — charming in youth yet structured enough for short-term cellaring.
Serve at 15–16 C. Silice 2022 pairs effortlessly with modern, lighter cuisine: roast chicken with herbs, pork tenderloin, grilled vegetables, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, burgers, ratatouille, tomato-based pastas or soft cheeses. Its refined structure and juicy fruit also make it ideal for lightly spiced Mediterranean or vegetarian dishes.
