Waris Hubert Annexa 2018
A Grand Cru Blanc-de-Noirs that channels the depth of Pinot Noir through Champagne`s mineral lens – bold yet refined.
Annexa 2018 by Waris-Hubert is exclusively sourced from Pinot Noir vineyards, including the distinguished village of Aÿ, producing a full-bodied Blanc-de-Noirs with the house`s signature low dosage and terroir clarity. Sensible handling and meticulous vineyard work translate into a Champagne where structure and fruit coexist with finesse.
Serve chilled to 8-10 C in a tulip or flute. Annexa 2018 excels as a celebratory Champagne but also pairs superbly with richer starters: smoked salmon, gravlax, seared scallops, lobster tempura. Its red-fruit depth and tannic structure complement duck breast with a berry glaze, pork tenderloin with herbs, or charcuterie. For cheese – aged Comte, mild goat cheese, or semi-hard Alpine cheeses bring out the wine`s fruit and savory mineral tones.
