This is Chenin in its raw, authentic Loire form — crystalline fruit, gentle waxiness, subtle oxidative touches and an unmistakable sense of place.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Quince, pear, yellow apple, chamomile, honeycomb, crushed stone and a faint oxidative nuttiness characteristic of natural Loire Chenin.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Medium-bodied with a waxy, textural mid-palate. Flavors of pear, quince paste, citrus pith, white flowers and chalky minerality. Bright acidity cuts through the richness, offering clarity and lift. A touch of nuttiness and lanolin echoes classic Chenin nuance.
Tertiary
Finish: Long, saline, mineral and slightly honeyed — elegant yet rustic.
