The result is a wine of transparency and immediacy, where crunchy red fruit, floral tones and lively acidity define the style. It captures Chinon’s lightness and energy in a raw yet elegant form — supple, aromatic and deeply refreshing.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Fresh raspberry, red cherry, wild strawberry, violet, crushed herbs and a subtle, earthy mineral note typical of natural Cabernet Franc.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Silky, juicy and lifted. Bright red fruit dominates, supported by a gentle herbal edge and fine, soft tannins. The structure is light and fluid, driven by vivid acidity.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium and refreshing — raspberry, floral lift and soft spice lingering cleanly.
GastronomyServe slightly chilled (12–14 C). SO2 2022 shines with simple, vibrant dishes: charcuterie, roast chicken, pork rillettes, lentils with herbs, grilled vegetables, mushroom toast, pizza, soft cheeses and bistro-style appetizers.
