Donnafugata Cuordilava Dolce&Gabbana 2019
Cuordilava is the flagship Etna Rosso created in partnership with Dolce&Gabbana. Sourced from old vines on the northern slopes of Etna at high altitude, it captures the mountain’s stark, black-lava soils with pinpoint precision. The 2019 vintage offers both tension and refinement: Nerello’s signature red fruit and rose notes framed by volcanic minerality, fine tannins and subtle oak warmth. It is a wine of poise, depth and unmistakable Sicilian identity.
Serve at 16–18°C. Cuordilava shines with sophisticated, earthy and umami-rich dishes: lamb cutlets, duck breast, venison carpaccio, porcini risotto, truffle dishes, roasted root vegetables, Sicilian pecorino, aged cheeses and grilled tuna. Its elegance and minerality elevate both refined meats and volcanic-earth cuisine.
