Domaine Bonnet Huteau Nuit Boreale
A bright Loire “bubble” that fuses old-world minerality with refined elegance – understated yet expressive.
Nuit Boréale springs from the organic, biodynamically-managed vineyards of Domaine Bonnet-Huteau, a family estate with deep roots in the Muscadet region of the Loire. This mousseux is vinified via traditional method (bottle fermentation), combining Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Melon de Bourgogne to capture both freshness and terroir-driven mineral tension. The wine expresses the granite, gneiss and silico-clay soils of the estate — a subtle but decisive terroir imprint that gives Nuit Boréale its crystalline minerality and airy sparkle.
Serve chilled (7-9 C) in a white-wine or flute glass to let the effervescence and minerality shine. Nuit Boréale is a superb aperitif, but its character truly comes alive with seafood: oysters, clams, scallops, lean fish ceviches, or light shellfish dishes. It also pairs well with soft goat cheeses, fresh cheeses (like chèvre, ricotta), or light salads with herbs. Because of its mineral freshness and subtle fruit, it’s perfect for summer evenings, brunches, or elegant but unfussy gatherings.
