Tasting CharacteristicsKetel One Vodka is the embodiment of Dutch precision and craftsmanship. Produced by the Nolet family distillery, active since 1691, it’s distilled in small batches using a combination of column stills and the original copper pot still Distilleerketel No. 1 — the inspiration for its name. The aroma opens with soft grain, lemon zest, and a touch of honeyed spice. On the palate, it’s smooth and silky, offering delicate sweetness balanced by peppery crispness. A timeless vodka, crafted for purity, clarity, and understated sophistication.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Fresh wheat, lemon peel, and a hint of white pepper.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Silky and balanced — soft grain, honey, and citrus zest with clean spice.
Tertiary
Finish: Crisp and elegant with lingering smoothness and warmth.
GastronomyServe well-chilled (6–8°C) neat or over ice for its full purity. Excellent as a base for premium cocktails such as the Ketel One Martini, Cosmopolitan, or Bloody Mary. Pairs beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, or light canapés. Its refined smoothness also complements sushi, citrus-based dishes, or creamy desserts. Ketel One is not just vodka — it’s a family legacy distilled into perfection.
