Tasting CharacteristicsLaunched by UFC champion Conor McGregor, Proper No. Twelve captures the friendly, approachable spirit of Irish whiskey. Crafted from a blend of fine grain and malt whiskies, aged in bourbon casks, it offers an easy-drinking balance of sweetness, oak, and spice.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Vanilla, honey, toasted oak, and light green apple with a touch of spice.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Smooth and approachable – caramel, malted barley, and subtle hints of pepper and nutmeg.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean and slightly oaky with lingering honey and light spice.
GastronomyPerfect neat, on the rocks, or as a base for Irish cocktails. Try it in an Irish Coffee, Whiskey Sour, or served alongside apple pie and vanilla ice cream. It also pairs beautifully with mild cheeses or creamy desserts.
