Tasting CharacteristicsWinnica Silesian Riesling 2021 comes from Lower Silesia, a region where cooler temperatures and longer growing seasons naturally favor aromatic whites with high acidity. The wine is vinified entirely in stainless steel, keeping the profile clean and precise. There is no attempt to soften or sweeten the style—this is Riesling driven by freshness, minerality, and structure. It reflects a modern Polish approach to Riesling: restrained, gastronomic, and focused on terroir rather than ripeness.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Green apple, lime zest, and white peach, supported by subtle floral notes and a light mineral undertone.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Dry and linear, with vivid acidity carrying citrus and orchard fruit. The texture is light and agile, with a saline edge that adds definition and keeps the wine firmly food-oriented.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean and medium in length, finishing on citrus peel and mineral notes.
GastronomyServe well chilled at 8–10°C. This Riesling pairs naturally with freshwater fish, seafood, and vegetable-driven dishes. Its acidity works particularly well with dishes featuring herbs, light pickling, or citrus accents. It also performs well with fresh cheeses and minimalist cuisine where precision matters more than weight.
