Aroma / Nose: Blackcurrant liqueur, blackberry, cassis cream, cedar, cigar box, graphite, violets, roasted coffee, cocoa nibs and warm Asian spice.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Full-bodied, dense and luxurious. Ripe cassis and black cherry meld with dark chocolate, espresso, incense, sweet spice and pencil-lead minerality. Tannins are abundant yet velvety, giving the wine structure without harshness. The mid-palate is opulent and layered, showing impressive depth.
