Tasting CharacteristicsLa Jaglerie Rosé d’Anjou reflects the classic profile of this Loire appellation: a predominantly Grolleau-based rosé made in stainless steel to preserve bright fruit and gentle sweetness. The style is approachable and gracefully aromatic, offering delicate red berries, soft florals and a smooth off-dry palate. This is a relaxed, charming rosé ideal for casual drinking, aperitifs and light dishes.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, rose petals, white flowers and a hint of candied citrus.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Light, silky and lightly sweet. Notes of ripe strawberry, raspberry coulis, soft cherry, red apple and a floral touch. Balanced acidity keeps the wine refreshing and prevents sweetness from dominating.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, smooth and fruity, with lingering strawberry and a gentle sweetness.
GastronomyServe well-chilled (8–10°C). Perfect for summer salads, charcuterie, light poultry dishes, fresh cheeses, fruit desserts, strawberry tart, or simply as an aperitif. Its soft sweetness and bright berry profile pair beautifully with mildly spicy Asian cuisine or sweet-savory combinations.
