Tasting CharacteristicsMarlborough Sun Sauvignon Rosé combines the region’s signature expressive Sauvignon Blanc with a splash of Pinot Noir for colour, softness and red-berry lift. Fermentation in stainless steel keeps the wine intensely fresh, vibrant and aromatic. This is a modern, juicy style built around purity, sunshine and effortless drinkability — perfect for relaxed, warm-weather moments.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Pink grapefruit, passion fruit, redcurrant, watermelon, raspberry, gooseberry, citrus blossom and a fresh herbal note.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Light to medium-, crisp and lively. Flavours of citrus, red berries, strawberry, kiwi, green herbs and subtle tropical notes. The Sauvignon component gives energy and brightness; Pinot Noir adds softness and fruit depth.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, refreshing and aromatic, with lingering pink citrus, berries and a light herbal tone.
GastronomyServe well-chilled (8–10°C). Excellent with sushi, prawns, poke bowls, ceviche, goat cheese salads, grilled vegetables, light chicken dishes, summer salads and fresh berry desserts. Its citrusy vibrancy and red-fruit softness make it ideal for warm days and casual meals.
