Tasting CharacteristicsOrestiadi Orange Inzolia BIO 2022 is produced from organically grown Inzolia grapes, one of Sicily’s historic white varieties. Skin contact during fermentation gives the wine its amber hue and adds gentle tannic grip, while careful vinification preserves freshness and aromatic precision. The style is restrained rather than oxidative — focused on balance, drinkability, and food compatibility rather than extremity. This is an accessible, modern expression of orange wine rooted in Mediterranean tradition.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Notes of dried citrus peel, apricot, and orange blossom, layered with subtle herbal tones and a light hint of tea leaves.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Dry and structured, with flavors of stone fruit, citrus zest, and mild spice. Fine phenolic texture adds grip without bitterness, supported by fresh acidity that keeps the wine precise and food-friendly.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean, lightly tannic, and persistent, with lingering citrus peel and herbal nuances.
GastronomyServe slightly chilled, around 12–14°C. This orange wine excels with vegetable-driven dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, grilled fish, and dishes featuring herbs, citrus, or olive oil. It also pairs well with semi-aged cheeses and plant-based cuisine, where texture and acidity are key.
