Tasting CharacteristicsProper No. Twelve Apple is a refreshing twist on the classic Irish blend, infused with the natural essence of crisp green apples. It combines the brand’s triple-distilled whiskey smoothness with bright, orchard-fresh fruitiness — a modern Irish spirit crafted for easy enjoyment.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Fresh green apple, honey, vanilla, and a touch of toasted oak.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Juicy and vibrant – sweet apple, caramel, and malt blend harmoniously with hints of citrus and spice.
Tertiary
Finish: Crisp and clean, with lingering apple sweetness and light oak warmth.
GastronomyPerfect served chilled or over ice, and excellent in cocktails such as an Irish Apple Mule or Apple Sour. Try pairing it with apple pie, salted caramel desserts, or sharp cheeses for a refreshing balance of sweetness and acidity.
