Arran – Authentic Whisky from the Isle of Arran

Arran, a unique independent distillery nestled on the picturesque Scottish Isle of Arran, has been a beacon of artisanal craftsmanship since the 1990s. Every stage of production, from distillation to maturation and bottling, takes place on-site, ensuring a unique character that sets Arran apart. The distillery is renowned for using only natural ingredients, including pure water from Loch na Davie, and traditional methods, without the use of chill filtration or artificial coloring.

The Philosophy of Pure Whisky

Arran is celebrated for its fruity, well-balanced character, where notes of apples, vanilla, honey, and spices dominate. Each expression matures in carefully selected casks — most often bourbon or sherry — adding depth and elegance to the blend. The brand offers both classic single malts and limited editions, along with special releases finished in wine, port, or madeira casks.

Most Popular Arran Whiskies:

• Arran 10 Year Old – the core expression, matured in bourbon and sherry casks, with notes of vanilla, apples, and warm spices.
• Arran 18 Year Old – a mature whisky with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and oak. Elegant and complex.
• Arran Sherry Cask “The Bodega” – intensely sherried, full of aromas of prunes, chocolate, and spice.
• Arran Quarter Cask – higher strength, matured in smaller casks, with a concentrated flavor profile.
• Arran Barrel Reserve – light and fruity, aged exclusively in bourbon casks. Perfect for newcomers to single malt.
