Tasting CharacteristicsLunatico Pinot Grigio Terre Siciliane 2023 presents a Mediterranean expression of this classic variety. Sicily’s warm, breezy climate gives the wine riper fruit tones—peach, pear, citrus—while stainless-steel fermentation preserves purity and freshness. The result is a bright, charming white with gentle floral notes, lively acidity and an easy, summery style suited to both food and casual sipping.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Lemon zest, pear, white peach, acacia, almond blossom and a soft saline-mineral hint.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Light to medium-bodied, smooth and refreshing. Flavours of citrus, peach, ripe pear, subtle melon and delicate floral notes. Acidity is clean and balancing, giving the wine vibrancy without sharpness.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, citrusy and bright, with lingering pear and floral-mineral notes.
GastronomyServe at 8–10°C. Ideal with seafood salads, grilled prawns, calamari, marinated anchovies, light pasta dishes, vegetable antipasti, goat cheese, citrus salads and sushi. Its sunny fruit and crisp acidity make it a perfect Mediterranean table wine.
