Tasting CharacteristicsRamaz Nikoladze Dzvelshavi captures the heart of natural Georgian winemaking — pure, honest, and quietly expressive. It unfolds with bright red fruit, herbs, and earthy tones carried by a smooth, refreshing structure. Light-bodied yet full of energy, it reflects its origin: cool Imeretian hills, ancient vines, and traditional qvevri craft. Every sip feels authentic — rustic elegance woven with freshness and soul.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Aromas of wild cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate mingle with notes of dried herbs, forest leaves, and a subtle earthy undertone. Light floral and mineral hints evoke the Imeretian landscape.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Juicy and vibrant, with red berries, tart plum, and a touch of spice. The texture is soft but lively, framed by delicate tannins and natural acidity that bring balance and freshness.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean and persistent, leaving impressions of cherry skin, herbs, and a gentle touch of clay minerality from qvevri aging.
GastronomyThis lively red is a perfect match for Mediterranean and Georgian-inspired cuisine. Pair it with roasted vegetables, grilled lamb skewers, or mushroom khachapuri, where its acidity and freshness cut through richness. It also pairs beautifully with charcuterie, lentil stew, and semi-aged cheeses. Serve slightly chilled (14–16 °C) to emphasize its fruit purity and lively texture — ideal for relaxed gatherings, natural wine bars, or rustic dinners.
