Nicolas Mariotti Bindi vinifies it naturally, preserving fruit purity, aromatic lift and mineral tension. The result is a red wine that is elegant rather than heavy: supple, herbal, bright and distinctly Corsican.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Wild strawberry, red cherry, pomegranate, dried herbs (maquis), rose petal, crushed stone, and a salty Mediterranean breeze.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Light-medium bodied with clean, pure fruit. Red berries, cherry skin, subtle spice, garrigue herbs and a strong mineral backbone. Tannins are fine and lightly sandy, acidity vibrant and refreshing. The style is graceful, linear and quietly savoury.
Tertiary
Finish: Fresh, slightly saline, mineral and herbal, with lingering red fruit.
