Tasting CharacteristicsShimshon Gold White is designed as an accessible introduction to Israeli white wines, focusing on clarity and drinkability rather than complexity. The blend brings together freshness from aromatic varieties and body from more neutral grapes, resulting in a profile that is easy to approach and versatile at the table. Stainless-steel vinification keeps the wine crisp and transparent, with no oak influence to distract from fruit and acidity. This is a straightforward, reliable white for everyday occasions.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Citrus, green apple, and pear, supported by light floral notes and a subtle herbal hint.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Dry and smooth, with fresh acidity carrying citrus and orchard fruit. The texture is soft and balanced, avoiding sharpness while remaining refreshing.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium in length, clean and lightly fruity, with a crisp, dry ending.
GastronomyServe well chilled at 8–10°C. This wine pairs easily with light fish dishes, salads, vegetable-based cuisine, and mild Mediterranean fare. Its balanced acidity and clean finish also make it suitable as an aperitif or alongside fresh cheeses and simple poultry dishes.
