Tasting Characteristics

Chai Mas Rouge 2022 reflects the warmth and generosity of southern France. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet, and Syrah, it delivers supple fruit, gentle spice, and a velvety mouthfeel. Balanced and modern, it captures the essence of Languedoc’s sun-soaked vineyards — vibrant, approachable, and effortlessly elegant. A red made for sharing, where every sip speaks of easy sophistication and southern charm.

Aromas and flavours:

Primary

Aroma/Nose: Aromas of ripe red berries — cherry, raspberry, and plum — blend with hints of black pepper, vanilla, and gentle earthiness.

Secondary

Palate/Taste: Smooth and fruit-driven, showing juicy red and black fruit flavors with subtle spice. The tannins are soft and integrated, giving the wine a silky texture and pleasing balance.

Tertiary

Finish: Medium-long and harmonious, with lingering notes of ripe fruit and a touch of oak.

Gastronomy

This smooth, versatile red pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and Mediterranean dishes. Try it with ratatouille, roast chicken, or pasta with tomato sauce, where its fruit and freshness complement savory flavors. It also pairs wonderfully with soft cheeses, tapas, and charcuterie. Serve at 16–18 °C — ideal for relaxed dinners, gatherings, or a cozy evening at home.
