Amaru Malbec 2021
Product characteristics
Amaru Malbec 2021 travels the path of modern Argentine Malbec: the Amaru label draws on ripe grapes, effective but not overbearing wood treatment (~9 months ageing per some sources) and a style that lands between power and polish. The wine’s origin in Argentina gives it sun-driven fruit, the oak ageing adds texture, and the moderate ABV (13.5%) helps retain freshness. It’s an accessible red with serious character.
Serve at around 16–18 C. This Malbec is ideal for lively meals that combine grilled meats, hearty stews or matured cheeses. Think Argentinian-style grilled rib-eye, lamb chops with chimichurri, beef ragout, or a mature hard cheese like aged Manchego or Pecorino. The wine’s ripe fruit, oak texture and moderate tannins allow it to pair across richer foods without getting buried.
