Tasting CharacteristicsGranit Rosé 2023 captures Frédéric Berne’s signature style: purity, tension and a deep respect for Lantignié’s high-altitude granite. Gamay is pressed directly to preserve brightness and aromatic delicacy, while stainless-steel fermentation keeps the wine crisp and linear. The result is a rosé that feels sculpted — citrus, red berries and gentle florals wrapped in unmistakable granitic minerality. Elegant, refreshing and gastronomic, this is Beaujolais rosé at its most refined.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Wild strawberry, redcurrant, pink grapefruit, white flowers and crushed granite.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Light, zesty and precise. Notes of citrus, raspberry and redcurrant flow over a clean mineral spine. Subtle salinity and lively acidity create a refreshing, mouthwatering impression.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium, dry and mineral — citrus peel and crushed stone lingering with finesse.
GastronomyServe well-chilled (8–10°C). Granit Rosé 2023 pairs beautifully with grilled prawns, ceviche, sushi, niçoise salad, Provençal vegetables, goat cheese crostini, charcuterie, light poultry dishes and summer pastas. Its saline, mineral profile makes it excellent with seafood and vibrant Mediterranean cuisine.
