Tasting CharacteristicsKlaus Meyer Riesling Trocken 2023 is a beautifully balanced dry Riesling — precise, pure, and full of tension. Its bright citrus fruit and racy acidity intertwine with a stony minerality, creating a wine that’s both refreshing and sophisticated. A modern German classic that captures the clarity and freshness of the Pfalz terroir.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Pure and aromatic, with notes of lime, green apple, and white peach balanced by hints of slate, citrus blossom, and wet stone.
Secondary
Palate/Taste:: Dry and vibrant with crisp acidity. Flavors of lemon zest, orchard fruit, and flint glide across a taut mineral core, showing the hallmark elegance of Pfalz Riesling.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and refreshing, echoing citrus, apple skin, and a saline mineral touch that leaves the palate clean and lifted.
GastronomyIdeal with seafood, sushi, and light poultry dishes. Its crisp acidity complements grilled fish, shellfish, and goat cheese, while the minerality shines with vegetable risotto or citrus-based salads. Serve chilled at 8–10 °C to preserve its vibrant aromatics and razor-sharp freshness.
