Tasting Characteristics

Taittinger Brut Réserve embodies the timeless elegance of Champagne. With its high proportion of Chardonnay, this cuvée stands out for its freshness, finesse, and harmony. Aged for several years on lees in Taittinger’s historic Reims cellars, it reveals the maison’s signature style — bright fruit, creamy mousse, and refined minerality. Each sip expresses precision and joy, making it one of the purest examples of Champagne craftsmanship.

Aromas and flavours:

Primary

Aroma/Nose: Delicate notes of white flowers, brioche, and citrus peel with hints of honey and toasted almond.

Secondary

Palate/Taste: Crisp and vibrant, combining green apple, lemon zest, and pastry cream over a silky mousse and mineral backbone.

Tertiary

Finish: Long, graceful, and refreshing with lingering citrus and biscuit tones.

Gastronomy

Serve well-chilled (6–8°C) in a flute or tulip glass. Taittinger Brut Réserve shines as an aperitif but pairs beautifully with oysters, sushi, or caviar. Its lively acidity complements light seafood, smoked salmon, and chicken with cream sauce. For an elegant pairing, serve with goat cheese tart, truffle risotto, or buttered lobster. Perfect for celebrations or quiet sophistication — Champagne at its most graceful.
