Tasting CharacteristicsTramin Unterebner Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC 2022 is one of the reference wines for the variety, sourced from a single historic vineyard near Tramin. High-altitude conditions, limestone-rich soils, and long growing seasons give the wine depth and natural tension. Fermentation and maturation on fine lees, partly in large oak casks, add texture and complexity without overt oak flavor. This is Pinot Grigio built with intent—layered, gastronomic, and distinctly Alto Adige.

Aroma/Nose: Ripe pear, yellow apple, and quince, layered with notes of chamomile, almond skin, light smoke, and crushed stone.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Medium-plus bodied and structured, showing orchard fruit, subtle nuttiness, and a pronounced mineral backbone. Acidity is firm and linear, giving the wine grip and longevity rather than softness.
Tertiary
Finish: Long, dry, and precise, with lingering fruit, mineral tension, and a slightly savory, almond-toned close.
