Tasting CharacteristicsAmethystos Blanc from Domaine Costa Lazaridi is a luminous expression of modern Greek winemaking — vivid, mineral, and artfully balanced. Blending Sauvignon Blanc’s exotic aromatics with the tension of Assyrtiko and the body of Semillon, it offers layers of citrus, tropical fruit, and subtle salinity. The result is a white wine that feels both Mediterranean and cosmopolitan — bright, elegant, and effortlessly drinkable.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma / Nose: Vibrant and aromatic — passion fruit, grapefruit, and lime zest with delicate herbal tones and a touch of flint.
Secondary
Palate / Taste: Elegant and layered — citrus and exotic fruits harmonize with the crisp minerality of Assyrtiko and the roundness of Semillon. Fine texture and precision carry through to the finish.
Tertiary
Finish: Clean, refreshing, and persistent with a saline edge and a hint of lemongrass.
GastronomyServe at 9–11 C with grilled sea bass, shrimp risotto, or ceviche. Excellent with goat cheese salads, sushi, or Mediterranean vegetable dishes. Its balance of freshness and texture makes it ideal for summer evenings, seafood feasts, or elegant aperitifs — a wine that captures the spirit of the Aegean breeze.
