Warm days, cool evening breezes and deep sandy-loam soils create a wine of richness, elegance and natural intensity. Extensive oak influence adds depth, chocolatey warmth and signature Zinfandel spice. The result is a bold yet polished Reserve bottling with serious presence and flexibility at the table.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Blackberry jam, black cherry, plum, blueberry compote, vanilla bean, sweet baking spice, mocha, toasted oak and a hint of pepper.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Full-bodied and velvety. Ripe blackberry, black plum, raspberry liqueur, cocoa, chocolate, cinnamon, clove and warm spice. Soft tannins integrate with a generous palate, while balanced acidity lifts the richness.
Tertiary
Finish: Long and warm, with lingering blackberry, peppery spice, cocoa and toasted oak.
