Summer Wolff Giogio 2022

Giogio 2022 by Summer Wolff sits firmly in the modern Austrian natural wine movement, where precision matters as much as freedom. Made with skin contact and minimal intervention, the wine focuses on texture, freshness, and raw varietal expression rather than polish. Fermentation with native yeasts and aging in neutral vessels preserve energy and transparency. The result is an orange wine that feels alive and honest—structured enough to pair with food, yet easy enough to drink without ceremony.

Serve lightly chilled at 10–12°C. Giogio shines with food rather than on its own: fermented vegetables, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, grilled vegetables, poultry, and dishes with herbs or mild spice. Its gentle tannic structure also pairs well with soft cheeses and umami-driven plates. Best enjoyed in an informal setting where curiosity is welcome.
