Tasting CharacteristicsBread & Butter Chardonnay 2022 hails from California vineyards bathed in sun, where Chardonnay grapes achieve optimal ripeness. The winemaker uses a mix of stainless-steel and barrel influence to preserve freshness while adding a subtle oak-inflected texture. The result is a wine that marries California fruit character with gentle richness — modern, easygoing, and enjoyable without fuss.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Ripe stone fruits like golden apple and pear merge with softer tropical hints. Light nuances of vanilla, toasted brioche or almond, and a whisper of oak spice add warmth and subtle complexity.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Juicy orchard fruit carries through — apple and pear — with creamy undertones. The wine’s rounded structure and moderate acidity give a smooth, balanced mouthfeel. Notes of gentle vanilla, soft oak and a touch of tropical fruit sweetness provide depth without heaviness.
Tertiary
Finish: Medium finish that lingers with soft fruit echo, a light almond-vanilla warmth and a delicate mineral-tinged freshness. A pleasant, easy finish that invites another sip.
GastronomyServe chilled (10–12 С) to highlight freshness and clarity. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with lighter dishes — grilled or sautéed seafood (like shrimp or scallops), roasted or grilled chicken, creamy pasta, risotto, or dishes with mild sauces. Its balanced acidity and creamy texture also make it a good companion for soft cheeses (like young goat cheese or Brie) and vegetable dishes such as grilled zucchini or butter-sautéed mushrooms.
