Tasting CharacteristicsLapis Luna’s philosophy of clarity and accessibility shines in the 2022 Chardonnay. Stainless-steel fermentation captures freshness and pure fruit character, while a touch of oak adds subtle creaminess and roundness. The result is a clean, contemporary Chardonnay with vibrant acidity, elegant fruit expression and a polished, crowd-pleasing texture.
Aromas and flavours:
Primary
Aroma/Nose: Lemon zest, ripe pear, white peach, apple blossom, light vanilla, soft tropical hints and a faint mineral touch.
Secondary
Palate/Taste: Medium-bodied, smooth and refreshing. Flavours of citrus, pear, peach, light pineapple, gentle spice and a subtle creamy note from partial oak ageing. Acidity is lively, giving the wine lift and balance.
Tertiary
Finisz: Medium, clean and fruit-led, with lingering citrus and peach.
GastronomyServe at 10–12°C. Ideal with roasted chicken, grilled prawns, salmon, sushi, creamy pasta, vegetable risotto, soft cheeses and fresh salads. Its crisp fruit and light creaminess pair beautifully with both delicate seafood and richer, comforting dishes.
